Surfing Holidays

A North Cornwall surfing holiday hardly needs an introduction as North Cornwall is the best place to surf in the UK and is the venue for countless competitions and festivals. People come from all over the world to surf the famous breaks that can be found the entire length of the coastline from Land's End to Bude.

Kitsham Farm is only a short drive from Widemouth Bay which is a great beach for surfing whether you are going for your first lesson or are a seasoned surfer. Bude is also just a short distance and the much respected break and wonderful, family-friendly, sandy beach at Polzeath is only 25 miles.

In between are dozens of bays and coves with less well known but equally good surf spots waiting for you to discover them. And, being Cornwall, there is usually a great beach for non-surfing friends to relax on whilst you get your fix.

If you've never surfed before and would like to give it a go, many of the most popular beaches have surf schools and even more have lifeguards during the summer season.

Many of the beaches have surf hire but, if you bring your own, the cottages have secure storage facilities for your boards.
